DODFI Health Initiatives & Sustainable Socio Economic MSMEs PPPS (CLM©®)

Executive Summary:

DODFI health initiatives and sustainable socio economic MSMEs (CLM©®) Program will target its services in disadvantaged communities that live in rural and congested unplanned urban areas. Key to the program will be revamping rural health facilities to deliver healthcare services that are supported with modern technology and equipment for diagnosis and treatment. With proper diagnosis and recording in place, this will intentionally lead to complementing DODFI immunization campaign to vaccinate populations against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) the primary risk factor for cervical, anal and some oral cancers as well as genital warts in populations.

According to the WHO, sub-Saharan Africa has the highest prevalence of cervical HPV among women at 24%. In 2020, 76,745 women across Africa died from cervical cancer, which is preventable. DODFI intends to help turn the tide in new HPV infection and diseases occurrence by aggressively campaigning to vaccinate teenagers and people aged up to 45 years old based on the FDA approved new guidelines. DODFI supports and will also implement WHO steps to eliminate cervical cancer that include: 70% cancer screening and putting 90% of women and girls with cancer on treatment.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), countries need to vaccinate 90% of women and girls with the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem by 2023. The vaccine protects against HPV types 16 and 18, which are responsible for most cervical cancers. Other steps to eliminate cervical cancer include: 70% cancer screening and 90% of women and girls with cancer on treatment.

Together with above DODFI health initiatives plans to implement projects in providing and improving sanitation and empowering communities through establishing MSMEs, that support them economically and gives them a reason to live healthy happy lives.
